Can I play Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream on PC?+

Yes — via the Ryujinx emulator on Windows, Mac, Steam Deck, and Linux. See our full emulator guide for setup steps, settings, and common fixes.

Is there a free demo?+

How does the personality system work?+

Every Mii has 4 sliders (Movement, Speech, Energy, Thinking) set during creation. The slider values determine which of 16 personality types they get. Use our Personality Calculator to find yours instantly.

Nintendo removed built-in online Mii sharing, but the community built TomodachiShare.com as an alternative. You can also share locally via Switch wireless. See our full Mii Sharing guide.

Up to 70 Miis can live on your island. Up to 8 Miis can share one house. When children grow up, you can send them off the island to free up space.

Can same-sex couples get married?+

Yes! The new "dating preferences" system lets each Mii date any gender combination, or none at all (aromantic setting). This is a major addition vs the 3DS version.

What are Warm Fuzzies?+

Warm Fuzzies are the island's happiness currency. You earn them by helping Miis, resolving problems, and completing milestones. They power the Wishing Fountain upgrade path.
