Island Expansion Tiers
Your island grows physically larger as your Mii population increases. New building slots become available at each tier:

Function: Where Miis live, sleep, and store personal items. Each has a unique interior.
Unlock: Available from day 1. One house per Mii, up to 8 Miis per house.
House exterior colour matches Mii's personality type house colour.
Where & Wear
Function: Clothing shop. Buy and gift outfits to Miis. New stock appears daily.
Unlock: Unlock by completing the clothing shop tutorial (demo endpoint).
Daily restocks. Miis can wear gifted clothes or be dressed manually.
Fresh Kingdom
Function: Main food shop. Buy food to feed Miis, discover favourites, and gift meals.
Unlock: Available from the start. Stock refreshes every day at midnight.
Daily specials offer discounted rare foods. Always check before buying at full price.
News Station
Function: Watch daily Mii news reports covering island events: relationships, achievements, drama.
Unlock: Unlocked after ~5 Miis move in.
Great for tracking which Miis are gaining happiness or having problems.
Observation Tower
Function: Houses the Compatibility Tester — check any two Miis' birthday compatibility %.
Unlock: Requires ~15 Miis on the island.
Compatibility changes daily. Also has a scenic view used in some Mii events.
Wishing Fountain
Function: Island upgrade shop. Spend Warm Fuzzies to unlock new features, decorations, and buildings.
Unlock: Requires spending Warm Fuzzies (happiness points). Unlocked after first milestone.

Ferris Wheel
Function: Entertainment ride. Increases island happiness. Site of the iconic Hugh Morris scene.
Unlock: Purchased via Wishing Fountain. Requires ~20 Miis.
Multiple Miis can ride together. Generates happiness points passively.
Wedding Venue
Function: Where married Mii couples hold their wedding ceremony.
Unlock: Purchased via Wishing Fountain after first Mii couple forms.
Choose wedding outfits and guest list. Couples get own married housing after ceremony.
T&C Reno
Function: Home renovation shop. Buy furniture, wallpaper, and flooring for Mii rooms.
Unlock: Requires ~10 Miis. Restocks every Monday.
Weekly Monday restock. Some rare items only appear here.
Palette House
Function: Custom design workshop. Create pixel art for food, clothing, pets, house exteriors, and island tiles.
Unlock: Purchased via Wishing Fountain. Requires ~12 Miis.

Concert Hall
Function: Miis perform songs. Each Mii has a unique singing voice. Can form bands.

Travel Centre
Function: Send Miis on trips. They bring back items, meet foreign Miis, and gain experiences.

Island FAQ
What is the maximum number of Miis?+
The island population cap is 70 Miis. Once you reach 70, no new Miis can move in until you send someone off the island. Note: grown children can be sent off, and there is no record kept of them after they leave.
Can I move buildings after placing them?+
Yes! Go to the Island Settings menu (accessible from the main island view) and select "Rearrange Buildings". You can freely move most structures around the island.
What are the shop reset times?+
Fresh Kingdom (food shop) resets daily at midnight local time. T&C Reno (furniture shop) resets every Monday. Where & Wear (clothing) resets daily.
Up to how many Miis can share one house?+
Up to 8 Miis can share one house. Married couples get their own house with two bedrooms. After babies grow up, they can either be given their own house or share with roommates.
How do I unlock the Wishing Fountain?+
The Wishing Fountain unlocks after your first Mii happiness milestone. From there, you spend Warm Fuzzies (happiness points) to unlock buildings, decorations, and island features.
